What we look at
Most small offices don't know where their IT actually stands until something breaks. The assessment gives you that picture in advance. We focus on the areas that cause the most downtime and the most expensive incidents for small and medium businesses.
- Security basics. Multi-factor authentication, admin accounts, antivirus/endpoint protection, patching and the obvious gaps attackers look for first.
- Email and Microsoft 365 (or Google Workspace). Sign-in protection, sharing settings, phishing defences, and who has access to what.
- Backups. What's backed up, where, how often, and whether anyone has ever tested a restore. See why backups quietly fail.
- Network and Wi-Fi. Firewall, router age and firmware, guest Wi-Fi separation and remote access.
- Computers and devices. Age, warranty, operating system support dates and disk encryption, so you can plan replacements instead of reacting to failures.
- Privacy obligations. For clinics, law firms and other offices holding personal information, the technical controls that support BC's PIPA and PIPEDA. We're not lawyers, but we can show you what's in place.

- Review. We walk through your setup with you, on site at your office anywhere within 300 km of Abbotsford, including Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and the Sea-to-Sky corridor, at no charge. Prefer remote? We can do that too.
- Report. You receive your findings and our recommendations. There's no obligation to buy anything.
