Senior practitioners
The person who scopes your work is involved in delivering it. No handoff from a salesperson to a team you never met.
Clearpine Technologies is a small managed services provider in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Small enough that you get a senior person on the phone; structured so that engagement size is never the reason we say no.
Clearpine Technologies Inc. was incorporated in Canada in 2026, built on years of hands-on experience delivering IT services to Canadian businesses. The founding intent was to run things differently from the typical IT firm: senior people doing the actual work, scope agreed in writing before anyone quotes a number, and documentation handed over as a matter of course rather than as a bargaining chip.
The name reflects the intent. Clear for how we communicate — no jargon used to create dependency, no invoices that arrive without explanation. Pine for where we are from and how we intend to operate: rooted, durable, and unglamorous in a way that tends to age well.
Clearpine is a small managed services provider. We are not going to pretend otherwise on a website, and we have never met a client who was fooled by a firm claiming to be bigger than it is.
Being small is why you get a senior person on the phone instead of a script, why a decision takes an afternoon instead of a change board, and why the person who quoted your project is the one standing in your server room. It is a deliberate structure, not a stage we are trying to grow out of.
It does not mean we are limited to small work. Our founder has delivered clinic infrastructure engagements up to $40,000 end to end, and we scale project teams through a network of vetted senior contractors we have worked alongside directly. For larger programs we are equally comfortable as specialist capacity inside a prime contractor's delivery structure.
Clearpine runs a lean core team supported by a network of vetted senior contractors. That keeps overhead — and therefore rates — reasonable, while letting us scale a project team up when an engagement genuinely needs more hands.

Specialists in infrastructure, security and deployment that we have worked alongside directly and can vouch for by name — scaled up when a project needs more hands.
Scope, assumptions, risks, decisions and handover. If it matters, it exists in a document you can read.
Clients sometimes ask whether a small MSP can handle a multi-site rollout, a full clinic build or a workstream inside a government contract. The honest answer is that firm size is rarely what determines whether a project succeeds — planning, sequencing and accountability are, and those are things small teams often do better.
What we will not do is take on work we cannot staff properly and hope it resolves itself. If an engagement needs more capacity than we can genuinely commit, we will say so at the scoping stage rather than discover it at go-live.
Our head office is in Abbotsford, British Columbia, in the Fraser Valley. We regularly work on site across the Lower Mainland — Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Langley, Surrey, Vancouver and the surrounding region.
Beyond the Lower Mainland we deliver remotely across Canada, with on-site attendance arranged where an engagement requires it. Most of what we do — development, cloud work, integration, analytics — is delivered just as effectively remotely, provided communication is disciplined. Which is rather the point of how we work.
The most useful first conversation is usually about the problem rather than the technology. Tell us what is not working and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right firm to fix it.
