Do you specialise in IT for healthcare and optometry clinics?
Yes — clinic environments are our core specialisation. Our founder has designed and delivered complete clinic IT infrastructure for optometry practices on projects valued up to $40,000. Clinics carry obligations most small businesses do not: patient data protection under PIPEDA, uptime requirements during clinic hours, and diagnostic equipment that has to integrate cleanly with practice management software.
How much does a clinic IT setup cost?
A complete single-site build — server, workstations, network, firewall, backup and configuration — typically falls between $15,000 and $40,000 depending on workstation count and diagnostic equipment. Ongoing support is quoted separately as a monthly service agreement. Every engagement starts with a written scope and a fixed quote, so the number does not move unless the scope does.
Do you work with government and public sector clients?
Yes. Clearpine Technologies Inc. is federally incorporated under the CBCA and registered extraprovincially in British Columbia. We are structured to meet public sector procurement, documentation and security screening requirements, and work both as a direct supplier and as a subcontractor to prime contractors.
Where are you located and what areas do you serve?
Head office in Abbotsford, British Columbia. On-site service across the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland — Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Langley, Surrey, Vancouver — and remote support across Canada.
You are a small firm — can you handle a large project?
We are a small managed services provider, and we say so plainly. Being small is why you get a senior person on the phone and why decisions take an afternoon rather than a change board. It does not limit the size of work we take on: our founder has delivered clinic infrastructure engagements up to $40,000 end to end, and we scale project teams through a network of vetted senior contractors. For larger programs we also work as specialist capacity inside a prime contractor's delivery structure. What we will not do is accept work we cannot staff properly — we will tell you that at scoping, not at go-live.
Can you take over support for systems someone else built?
Usually, yes. We start with a documented assessment of what exists, identify anything that is a genuine risk, and give you a prioritised list before committing to ongoing support. Occasionally we find an environment we would not want to put our name to without remediation first — and we will tell you that plainly rather than quietly inherit the problem.
Do you also handle Google Ads and SEO?
For clinic clients, yes. Several of our clinic engagements have included Google Ads campaigns and local SEO alongside the infrastructure work. It is offered as a complement to the technology relationship rather than as a standalone marketing service.
